A Look Back At A Teaching Career That Began at New Hope School

In 1961, Donald Rominger, Jr. was 21 years old and just venturing out on his teaching career. He was a 1958 Tecumseh graduate who had completed his studies at Oklahoma Baptist University in three years.Everything was new to him at New Hope School, which stood at the corner of New Hope Road and Gaddy Road, west of Tecumseh, until Jan. 11 of this year.“I had taken the position only a few days prior…
