GREENVILLE, TX— The Potawatomi Fire got lucky number 13 on Saturday evening, beating the Texas 7ers 142-124. It wasn’t an easy win, as the Fire had to battle back from an early 10-0 hole, but they kept their composure and showed why they are the only remaining undefeated team in The Basketball League.

After years of close calls, the Tecumseh Lady Savages are STATE CHAMPIONS!! On Tuesday at the Hall Of Fame Stadium in OKC, the Lady Savages accomplished something that only one other Tecumseh team has done, and that was 30 years ago. The new class 5A State Champs took the hard way to the title, as the Lady Savages had to make incredible comebacks in each of their three tournament games.

The Savage hard-ballers ended their season last week in the District Tournament but battled enough to win two games in the tourney before the host team Hilldale finished off the boys from T-Town. Tecumseh opened the tournament against Hilldale and quickly fell into the loser’s bracket in a 10-0 loss.
