United Way Organizes Tornado Outreach, Helps 22 Families

After a year of tornado recovery in Shawnee, there are still some people who are waiting for repairs to happen. It was with this in mind that 23 volunteers met at the Big Lots parking lots, split into groups, and went out into Shawnee neighborhoods to hand out resource information bags.They were led by Laura Barrow, the Disaster Recovery Coordinator for United Way of Pottawatomie County, who gaveā€¦
