The Barnard Elementary LEGO Savages received the Core Values Award during a FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Qualifying Event at Gordon Cooper Technology Center last fall. Because of that, they have now been invited to represent Oklahoma at the FIRST LEGO League World Festival, in Houston, April 19-22. The Barnard Elementary LEGO Savages participate in a qualifying event held at Gordon Cooper Technology Center last fall, where they received the Core Values Award. Barnard Elementary LEGO Savages
Later this month, the Barnard Elementary LEGO Savages team will be traveling to Houston, TX, to represent Oklahoma at the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) World Festival.
For the first time in the program’s six years, the six-member team of first- and second-graders has been invited to attend the event, after competing in an FLL Qualifying Event at Gordon Cooper Technology Center last fall.
