Three Pott. County 4-H Leaders Attend 25th Annual 4-H Day at the Capitol

An Oklahoma Senate Resolution was made declaring April 17, 2024 as the 25th Annual 4-H Day at the Capitol. In part, it read, “Whereas, for a quarter of a century, this annual celebration of 4-H Day at the Capitol has provided an opportunity for club members to share their 4-H stories with state leaders.” Most counties in Oklahoma are allowed to send their top two or three 4-H members in leadership roles, and Kacie Jasper, a 4-H Educator for Pottawatomie County 4-H, took three.

4-H Excused Absences Signed By Governor

OKLAHOMA CITY – Gov. Stitt on Tuesday signed House Bill 1006 into law, which will grant 4-H students an excused school absence when participating in an approved activity.
