Dr. Joe Taron has been active in his hometown of Shawnee since he was a teenager. Since then, he has served many organizations, as well, including the Heart of Oklahoma Expo Center’s Civic Cultural Trust, the Pottawatomie County Development Authority, and Concerned Oklahomans for the Highway Patrol Society (COHPS).
