Tecumseh Adds New Sport To Extra Curricular Activities

  • Tim Underwood swears Shawn Fleming into Office #2, for his third full term on the Tecumseh Board of Education. Fleming ran unopposed. Additionally, the Tecumseh Board of Education voted to not reorganize the board, at the April 11 meeting, and kept the officers the same as the previous year. Fleming remains as board president, Todd Kennedy is vice president, and Tim Underwood is clerk. Countywide & Sun/ Kendra Johnson

School shirts are ubiquitous with sports games ranging from softball to football. And in Tecumseh, they will soon be seen at another sporting event: Bass fishing. The Tecumseh Board of Education, at their April 11 meeting, voted to enter into an agreement with Bill Mitchell to form a team with the Oklahoma Bass Nation High School Fishing Program.
