Oleta Fay (Parker) Stone passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 89. Oleta was born July 18, 1934, a twin and 7th of nine children to Clarence and Emily (Modena) Parker on rural farm in Wellston, OK. She graduated from Chandler High School in 1952 and married Glen Stone on March 29th, 1952. They were married 49 years at the time of Glen’s death in 2001. Oleta worked a number of years as an LPN.
Oleta is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen Stone; sons: Daniel Stone and Stanley Stone, brothers: Weldon Parker, Melvin Parker, Curtis Parker; sisters: Lorena Grissam, Leota Belcher, Mildred Martin, and Anna Thomas.
She is survived by her son Gary Stone (Rebecca) of Chandler, OK, daughter Faye Stone of Earlsboro, OK, daughter Glenita Vasquez of Mansfield, TX, twin sister Anita Kimball of Harrah, OK, 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held April 18, 2024 at Fairview Baptist Church.
