Patricia Lee Ward passed away, April 21, 2024. Patricia was born July 20, 1945 in Concho, OK to Freeland Wood Sr. and Lorene (Mack) Wood. She attended North Rock Creek and Shawnee High School. Patricia worked most of her life as a hairdresser. She was a member of the Sac and Fox Nation where she had been a former Elder of the Year.
She was preceded in death parents, brothers: Freeland “Woody” Wood Jr., Eddie Wood, Bob Wood, Jim Wood, Edgar Wood, and H.D. Wood, sisters: Billy Jo Wood, Betty Hernandez and Wanda Sue Tiger. Survivors include her son Steven Ward of Shawnee, a step-son, Brock Ward, nieces and nephews, Patrick, Colleen, Jimmie, Robin, Tony, Channa, Darla, Jennifer, Freeland, Christi, Edward, Michael, Lorena, and Stephanie, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
