Don Geyer passed away April 23, 2024. He was born in Shawnee, OK. on December 19, 1941, to F.W. and Walsa (Giboney) Geyer. He graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1959. He also attended Oklahoma State University where he was a member of the ROTC.

Wilma Jean Howard passed away April 18, 2024. She was born December 15, 1934 in Asher, OK to Delmer and Maggie (McCraw) Anderson.

Oleta Fay (Parker) Stone passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 89. Oleta was born July 18, 1934, a twin and 7th of nine children to Clarence and Emily (Modena) Parker on rural farm in Wellston, OK. She graduated from Chandler High School in 1952 and married Glen Stone on March 29th, 1952. They were married 49 years at the time of Glen’s death in 2001. Oleta worked a number of years as an LPN.

Jaylen Rayanne Johnson passed away April 7, 2024. Jaylen was born November 19, 1996 in Shawnee to Robert Anthony Johnson Jr and Ann (Parish) Johnson. She attended Shawnee High School and later earned an Associate’s Degree. She worked as a sterile tech at McBrides.

Hazel Tobler Henry Searcy passed away on April 6, 2024 at the age of 98. Hazel was born on July 26, 1925, in Spiro, OK to Bertha and Ennie Tobler. Hazel graduated from Spiro High School in 1943 and moved to Shawnee to attend Oklahoma Baptist University, graduating in 1946. She loved her job as secretary to the OBU president, Dr. John Wesley Raley.

Patsy Sue Beets passed away April 8th, 2024. She was born December 26, 1942, in Oklahoma City, OK to Edgar and Vera (Edney) Giddens. Patsy graduated from Vamoosa High School in 1961 and on May 27, 1961 she married Larry Beets.

Jackie “Jack” Ray Garner, passed away on April 8, 2024. He was born on September 8, 1956, in Pryor, OK to James and Barbara Garner. Jack graduated from Pryor High School and served his country with honor as a member of the United States Air Force. After his military service, Jack continued his education at Southwest Missouri State University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in CAD drafting. Jack then pursued a career as a draftsman and later excelled as a heavy haul conveyor (OTR).

John Price passed away on April 10, 2024. John was born on February 3, 1929 in Lawton, OK to Anne (Cox) Burton. He graduated from Shawnee High School in 1947. He then went on to proudly serve in the United States Army. Once he was discharged from the Army, John attended Oklahoma Baptist University with the GI Bill. He then married the love of his life, Dorothy Jean Brown on July 15, 1951 at the Blackburn Church in Bethel, OK. They enjoyed over 61 years together, until Dorothy’s passing in September of 2013.

Sharon Kay (Renegar) Smith passed away on April 12, 2024. Sharon was born July 24, 1942 in Shawnee, OK to Wilburn and Mae Renegar.

Gary Gambill passed away on April 14, 2024. He was born October 18, 1947 to Wendell and Bernice (Tatum) Gambill in Oklahoma City, OK.
